Aqua Systems Haiti, Pioneer Water Tanks' Haitian distributor, has been setting up water tanks at relief camps around Port au Prince in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake.

Albert Levy, from Aqua Systems Haiti said, "the situation in Haiti is disastrous, but help is slowly getting organised. The port is partially operating, fuel is becoming available, some streets in Port au Prince have been cleared."

"In recovery efforts, water distribution is one of the most acute problems."

"Fortunately we had in stock some Pioneer water tanks and we started installing them near the refugee camps. We have recently installed the 25th tank."

"We are getting help from family, friends, organisations that support our effort in logistics and water supply."

"We even got the help of the Israeli rescue team who have also given us a large supply of water treatment tablets."

Pioneer Water Tanks will be shipping additional tanks to Haiti to aid in Aqua Systems Haiti's efforts.
