An Australian Bushfire Co-operative Research Centre test has proven that Pioneer water tanks can withstand extreme bushfire conditions - which is critical in the protection of your property.
Testing of Pioneer water tanks included a full flame immersion for a period of 30 minutes to simulate an adjacent structural fire.
Result: The Pioneer tank maintained its structural integrity during all tests. The liner construction proved able to retain water during and after the fire-front with minimal loss of water.

Community Fire and Local Government Standards/Requirements
Different councils, shires and other fire regulatory bodies where you live have different requirements for fire protection tanks. Please supply us with the specifications, and we will look at tailoring a tank to meet the appropriate requirements.

Air Gaps (AS/NZS3500 Compliance)
Some dedicated fire protection tanks in Australia require an air gap to comply with AS/NZS3500 to satisfy the requirements of the Plumbing Code of Australia and the New Zealand Building Code. Pioneer Water Tanks can accommodate such requirements should the need arise.
