Internal Connection Only Rebate 

$400 - for residents who plumb their existing rainwater tank/s into the home - Council requires connection to at least one toilet or cold water washing machine tap by a licensed plumber. The tank must be installed or purchased prior to 1 July 2009 and is equal to or greater than 3,000 litres. The receipt for internal plumbing connection must be dated 1 July 2008 to 30 June 2009

*In order to be eligible for the rebate, rainwater tanks in Brisbane must be connected to the laundry and/or toilet of the home. For full terms and conditions of rebates available for Brisbane City Council, click here.

South Australia

The rainwater tank and plumbing rebate available under the Home Rebate Scheme includes:
A rebate of between $200 and up to $1000 is now being offered towards the cost of purchasing and plumbing a rainwater tank into your home for uses such as toilet fl ushing, all cold water outlets in laundry and for hot water supply.
